Job Description:

Harper’s Bazaar is excited to announce our Summer Internship Program for 2024. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about the fashion and publishing industry to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into the world of fashion journalism and editorial content creation.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in research and fact-checking for articles and features.
2. Contribute creative ideas for editorial content.
3. Assist with administrative tasks, such as organizing files and managing schedules.
4. Attend editorial meetings and brainstorming sessions.
5. Contribute to social media content creation and management.
6. Assist with photo shoots and other editorial projects as needed.

Requirements:

1. Currently enrolled in a college or university program, or recent graduate.
2. Strong interest in fashion, journalism, and publishing.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Familiarity with social media platforms.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.

Skills:

1. Strong research and analytical skills.

3. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Adaptability and willingness to learn.
5. Basic understanding of photography and graphic design (preferred but not required).

Experience:

1. Previous experience in journalism, publishing, or related fields is a plus but not required.
2. Experience with content creation and social media management is advantageous.
