Job Roles

  • Inspection Support: Assist inspection teams in preparing for and conducting inspections of health and social care services, including hospitals, care homes, and GP practices.
  • Data Analysis: Support the analysis of data related to health and social care providers, helping to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Regulatory Affairs: Work with the regulatory team to review and assess compliance with health and safety standards, contributing to the development of regulatory policies.
  • Communications and Public Engagement: Assist in creating communication materials, managing social media channels, and engaging with the public to raise awareness about CQC’s work.
  • Research and Policy Development: Conduct research on emerging issues in health and social care, contributing to policy papers and reports that influence national healthcare standards.

Education Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Public Health, Social Sciences, Law, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong academic record with relevant coursework.

Experience Requirements

  • Previous internship or work experience in healthcare, public health, regulatory affairs, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience in research, data analysis, or public communication will be considered an advantage.

Skills Requirements

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and contribute to evidence-based decision-making.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, particularly when handling sensitive information.
